Certified BO 33KV Chargeman Elpion Silicon Sdn Bhd Job Description To maintain electrical power and utilities supply throughout the factory and responsible to start up and shut down of all plant support equipments. Monitor the efficient performance of equipment and record data of energy comsumption. Liase with the relevant supply authorities in the event of power interruption or other utilities supply problems. Responsible to maintain a continuos supply of utilities in the plant. In the event of a partial or complete supply interruption, must determine the cause and take immediate action to correct the faulty and reconnect the supply Guide and lead the electrical group in carrying out schedule for preventive and corrective maintenance, electrical equipments troubleshooting and repair activities. Enforce the safe practices and observation of electrical safety measure and precautions. Implement and execute energy saving programs effectively and timely. Responsible in ensuring that all machines and electrical equipment are functioning satisfactorily. Responsible in correcting facilities equipment breakdown and analyze to prevent in future. Be proactive to ensure no utilities or equipment breakdown in manufacturing operations. Issue electrical safety permit /certificates to electrical contractors. To ensure fire alarm panels, standby gen-sets, fire fighting diesel engines are in good operating condition. Coordinate plant shutdown activities. 33KV SWGR, Underground Cable, 33KV Transformer, SAF HV SWGR & Capacitor, Substation, Protection relay and SCADA System. Improving the quality of 33KV Power System. Management of spare part, local panel and local earthing system Supervise technician & report to engineer. High Tension Chargeman 33KV Certificate of competency from Suruhanjaya Tenaga. Minimum 3-5 years working experience in the maintenance of heavy electrical equipment and other support equipment like fire alarm system, stanby gen-sets, UPS, ABB, LS switch gear. Pssession of technical certificates in steel industry will be added advantage. Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Good interpersonal skills and team work.
