Senior Maintenance Leader
Penang

Responsibilities:

  
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Associates degree / diploma in an engineering, mechanical or electrical field desired
  • Those with B0 Chargeman Certification from  Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia with at least 5 years’ experience in the  Maintenance  environment would be an added advantage
 
Requirements:
  • More than 8 years working experience in maintenance and manufacturing environment
  • More than 5 years of supervisory experience
 
Responsibilities
  • The prime responsibility is to ensure that workers are carrying on work as per schedule.
  • He or she has the responsibility to check on the work schedule
  • He or she is responsible for allocating the duties to the workers according to their capabilities.
  • It will be the responsibility to deal with any sort of problems with workers.
  • He or she has to be very sure about the safety precautions that they are properly implemented
  • He or she has to ensure the quality of work in addition to ensuring schedule.
  • He or she has the responsibility to provide the training to new & existing workers and safety measures.
  • He or she has to motivate the workers to do the work with higher efficiency and ensuring that the work is completed on time properly.
Specific Skills and requirements:
  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical knowledge required
  • Strong knowledge in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Must have advance knowledge in PLC and CNC.
  • Proven knowledge of CNC machiningprocesses, tools and equipments
  • Strong knowledge in TPM(Total Preventive Maintenance)and have successfully implementedTPM.
  • Able to support machine commissioning in plant and buy-off at suppliers
  • Knowledge in Electrical supply Act, Electrical Regulations, IEE Wiring Regulation would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in building Electrical, Mechanical, with strong emphasis on electrical installation and trouble shootings.
  • Knowledgeable in Safety Management e.g.(MRA) MachineryRisk Assessment, LOTO (Lock OutTag Out)etc.
  • Able to identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings& energy savings.
  • The person needs to have the excellent leadership, management, planning and motivation skills.The person should be very good at analyzing things and so should have good analysis and observation skills.
  • Ability to communicate with workers and managing them with efficiency
  • He or she should have excellent troubleshooting abilities in the tough situations.
  • The person needs to be very hard working and committed andthe ability to work under high stress situations.
  • The person should necessarily have a tremendous presence of mind in case of accidents.
  • He or she should have a sound and deep knowledge about maintenanceprocedures and safety measures.
  • He or she should have the ability to allocate the duties to the workers according to their capabilities
  • He or she needs to have excellent time management skills.
  • Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage the maintenance crews in carrying out PM activities
  • Excellent budgetary control
  • A strong hand-on person in maintenance and machine trouble shooting
  • Have good network with suppliers for spare parts
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills and presentation skills
  • Able to support after office hours as and when needed
  • Able to train operators, machinist, technicians and cell leaders in autonomous activities
