Responsibilities:

• Two electrical installations under his registration, to be identified by Maintenance Services Manager.
• Ensuring that the electrical installations are in compliance with the Electrical Inspectorate Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994 and other relevant authorities’ requirements.
• Ensuring efficient operations of the electrical installations and conducting regular checks on all the electrical equipment in the HT Room, LV Switch Room and Generator Set Room.
• Test-running the generator set once a month to ensure the system is in order and functional (Checklist Document Ref. PPM322D).
• Recording all faults noted in the electrical system and submission of list to the Building Manager/Residential Manager/Maintenance Services Manager for further action.
• Liaising closely with the Supervising Engineer during his monthly visit to ensure all findings   and comments by the Engineer are rectified accordingly. Such findings and rectification actions are to be notified to Building Manager/Residential Manager and Maintenance Services Manager
• Standby to attend to emergency breakdown calls on all electrical systems after his normal working hours. Should he be unreachable or unable to attend to the electrical breakdown due to unforeseen circumstances, justification must be produced or else a show cause letter shall be issued.
• Assisting the in-house technicians as and when necessary to attend to and resolve any M&E        issues as directed by the Building Manager/Residential Manager or Maintenance Services Manager after the completion of his primary assigned duties as stated above.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM
• A4 Chargeman certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
• At least 5 years working experiences
• Possess good knowledge in M&E system that applicable to highrise residential, commercial or mixed developments
• Possess good interpersonal skills and able to maintain effective working relationships with department staff and customers
• Fair oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Computer literate
• ·Able to work independently with minimum supervision, reliable and possessing initiative
• Willing to work late/on shift if required
